Rainbow Twins

Project Description
The Rainbow Twins were commissioned to take part in the exhibit “Toys” at the Peninsula Fine Arts Center. The exhibit focuses on the act of play, toys as works of art, and the design and craft behind making interactive objects. The pieces on display are fabricated from colorful lightweight sheets, cut and fitted together to form a full scale “eggcrate” model of a bear shape inspired by toy model building kits.

As part of the larger Massimals series, the Rainbow Twins are small scale versions of the Rainbow Massimal, a large scale Massimal that changes color as you move around its exterior.
