Massimals: Stair Bears are hybrid design objects that combine a set of stairs with a lumbering animal form into a pop-up social folly. On display are two examples demonstrating a stair module integrated into the rear and side of the bear form. The placement and arrangement of the pieces are situated dynamically to encourage social interaction by providing steps to sit on at multiple levels in one piece and flat planes situated above the waste in the other for standing desk or counter use.
