Massimals at Long Beach

2015

Project Description

The Massimals were invited for presentation at the Long Beach Museum of Art (LBMA) in 2015. On display are four Massimals which include two of the original set of five exhibited in 2010: the horizontal contour model, constructed out of white foam board, and the vertical contour model, constructed out of pink extruded polystyrene foam. Along with these pieces are two new additions to the family designed and fabricated for the Vitality and Verve exhibition: the diagonal contour model constructed out of white expanded polystyrene foam and the translucent egg-crate model constructed out of clear corrugated plastic sheets, now part of the permanent collection of the museum.

Fabrication made possible with MakeTime.
